Rosemont College

Originally founded in 1921 as a women's college, Rosemont College now offers a range of under and postgraduate programs in various different fields. Many buildings on campus are listed on the National Register of Historic Places, including the famous Joseph Sinott Mansion.

Lancaster Street

Lancaster Street serves as the main commercial district in both Rosemont and Bryn Mawr. Here, you'll find a variety of different specialty shops and restaurants, as well as historic sites like the Harriton House, Ashbridge Memorial Park, and the Bryn Mawr Film Institute.

Ashbridge Park

Public Transportation

Rosemont has its own train station just off of Airdale Road, which offers stops on the Paoli/Thorndale Line of SEPTA Regional Rail and the Norristown High Speed Line. Many residents also choose to travel into Center City via the larger Bryn Mawr station. On average, a trip from Rosemont to Downtown Philly takes just 45 minutes...and you won't have to worry about traffic! 

Local Schools

Rosemont's students are split between Radnor Township School District and Lower Merion School District. Both districts are known for their rigorous curriculums and high graduation rates—in fact, many institutions in the area have even been recognized as Blue Ribbon Schools. Some parents opt to send their children to one of Rosemont's private schools, such as the Agnes Irwin School or Holy Child School at Rosemont.
